Close out of any open
Internet Explorer/Allscripts windows.
Open the start menu in the
lower left hand corner of the screen and click the search bar at the
bottom of the window.
Type “Add or Remove Programs”
without quotes
Click the first option that says Add or
Remove Programs
A list of currently installed
applications will show up. When you double-click on an application in this
list it will begin to uninstall. There are three applications that need to
be uninstalled that are listed below. Locate them in the list and uninstall
them one at a time waiting for each to complete.
Allscripts
TouchWorks Web Control
IDXWebFrameworkControls
WebXContextlets
Once all three programs have
completed uninstalling, navigate to \\sccm\packages
Locate the folder named
"Web Controls 17.1 CU10
Copy this folder to the
user's desktop
Right click on the file labeled Setup.cmd
and select "Run as Administrator"
A black window will show up
along with a progress bar. Allow this installation to complete. Once it
has finished, the black window will go away.
