Resetting Meditech Password/Converting to Single Sign On

Users such as ORS staff will never convert to single sign on.

***“Only use the Enter Key to move between fields”***  No Tab or Mouse

MIS#10 User name

• Then select Shift F12 at the same time to open a Magic Key Menu
• Then select #20 Assign Password

• Type in User’s mnemonic, enter then type in a password (I usually use orthoindy).  Select F12 and file. 
• Back out by using F11

Converting user to single sign on

Password will not be seen when typing in

• You will then get the Network Authentication Screen.
• You will use your Network Username and Password in this screen.

• If the conversion is successful you will get this screen.  The NT Username should show your network sign-on and the Meditech user ID.  

• After linking you will get this message and the link is complete.

• The next time they log into Meditech they will not have to enter their password it will automatically log them in as the user who is signed onto that device.
