- Remove the battery from the pager
- Hold the middle button on the pager and reinsert the battery.
- It will come up to a screen asking for a password. The password should be 0000. Press the bottom right button (from here referred to as the power button) to continue to the next screen.
- It will ask for the frequency. This value should be 457.5750 WB. Use the button(s) on the left side (from here referred to as the left and right buttons) to change position and the middle button to change the value. Once finished hit the power button to continue.
- For the CAPCODE set the following where XXX is the device identifier using the buttons the same way as above (next available ID can be found on NWB-WESTCOM-01):
- 1: on 000XXX AAAA
- Set the BAUD rate to 512 and hit the power button.
- Leave contrast and password as default hitting the power button both times.
- Once the device is configured, you will need to login to NWB-WESTCOM-01 and set it up as a new device.
- Login to the server and open the Westcom LIASON service.
- Press the menu button and click on Setup
- Click on the Devices tab on the top and select Add
- Enter the Identifier which is the same three-digit number as above and hit okay.
The device is now configured for use and can be tested from the callboards before being deployed.
