Ring Central App Phone Quick Reference Guide

Getting Started

  1. Open the application on your computer and log in with your work email and password.
  2. Allow permissions (microphone, notifications, contacts) for full functionality.

Making a Call

  1. Tap the Phone icon.
  2. Dial a number or select a contact (ie. 13178022000) **You do not have to enter a 9 at the beginning of the call; just the area code and the phone number.
  3. Tap the Call button.

Answering a Call

  • Tap Accept when a call comes in.

Transferring a Call

While on a call:

  1. Tap Transfer.
  2. Choose:
    • Warm Transfer – talk to the person first
    • Blind Transfer – send the call immediately
  3. Select contact or enter number.

Putting a Call on Hold

  • Tap Hold during a call.
  • Tap Resume to return.

Checking Voicemail

  1. Tap Voicemail.
  2. Select a message.
  3. Tap Play to listen.
  4. You can call back or delete from here.

Contacts

  • Tap Contacts to view your company directory.
  • Search by name or number.

Notifications & Settings

  • Tap your profile iconSettings
  • Customize:
    • Notifications
    • Call handling
    • Do Not Disturb
    • Audio preferences
